Anonymous asked: would that printable tattoo transfer paper be good for putting a design on for stick and poke? i have never done one but are keen to try. i'd have to do the design sideways, and i dont want to fuck it up.
ETA: Ok, so I’ve gotten a few answers about this and the bottom line is this- if you’re concerned about perfection then stick and poke is not the medium for your piece. There’s nothing wrong with transfer paper if you’re just trying to keep something that you’re comfortable drawing level and straight, but if you’re looking for details that you wouldn’t know how to draw on your own, don’t do it. Transfer paper itself is fine, just don’t abuse it. And as always, if you’re looking for quality, detail work, seek out a professional.
